Online marketplace Snapdeal.com has launched a mobile shopping application for iPhone users as more consumers are accessing the portal through handsets.
The app will enable easy access for consumers to thousands of brands across various product categories through their phones, which are showcased on the Snapdeal platform, the portal said in a release.
The company already has launched mobile applications for Android and Windows users.
It portal said that 30 per cent of all orders on Snapdeal are now being placed over mobile phones.
Basis the sales and traffic on Snapdeal. com over the last six months, iOS has emerged as the second most popular operating system after Android, accounting for 12 per cent of the mobile traffic on Snapdeal.com, it said.
