Social network co Hallwaze makes India foray

Hallwaze, a Virginia-based cloud computing company has announced its India foray.

The company which provides a collaboration social networking technology for enterprises to engage with their employees has announced a 12 member operation that will target tech development, sales and marketing. Hallwaze was originally incubated within Xavient Information Systems, an IT services provider owned by Saif Ahmad and Rajeev Tandon, which was later spun off as an independent company.

The company, which is seeing traction in the North American market, believes that India is a significant market opportunity, according to Saif Ahmed, President and Chief Operating Officer, Hallwaze Inc.

"Effective collaboration among people in an organization leads to ideas getting exchanged and nurtured, and finally resulting in actionable decisions and a more satisfied work force and through our technology, enterprises can achieve the desired results,” added Ravi Kumar Chief Technology Officer, Hallwaze Inc.

Company officials added that Hallwaze has clocked a revenue run rate of $3 million in the first year of operations and in line with this growth is also looking at VC investments.
