Sonata Software in pact with Qatar firm to up service offering

Bangalore-based Sonata Software has inked a deal with Qatar’s MEEZA to enhance cooperation in the area of Information and Communications Technology service delivery across Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, with immediate focus being Qatar.

The partnership will help MEEZA tap into a vast pool of highly experienced and knowledgeable IT professionals across different areas, including Oracle and SAP, MEEZA said in a statement.

Sonata Software is an IT consulting and software services company delivering transformational IT solutions through customer specific centres.

“Partnering with Sonata Software has added a considerable breadth and depth to our integration capabilities. We are confident that our client’s trust in MEEZA as an agile provider with a wide-reaching and fail-safe ecosystem of technology and service suppliers will broaden as a result of this agreement,” MEEZA Chairman and CEO Rashid Al-Naimi.

“Qatar is a strategic market for Sonata and we have made significant investments in the region through a joint venture with Mohammad Nasser Abdullah Al-Misnad. The new agreement provides Sonata with access to the Qatari marketplace, which reinforces our global expansion strategy,” Srikar Reddy, Managing Director and CEO, Sonata Software, said.

Sonata Software partner, Mohammad Nasser Abdullah Al-Misnad said the partnership will offer Qatari enterprises a wide portfolio of services with rapid scalability, for speedy and steady growth.
