Bangalore-based midsized company Sonata Software has partnered MEEZA, a Qatari-based software company.

With this tie-up, Sonata is tapping the Qatari technology marketplace, according to a statement issued by the company.

MEEZA was established to provide essential IT support to Qatar’s development process in close alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030, and has become Qatar’s leading IT solutions and services provider.

The partnership will help MEEZA tap into a vast pool of highly professional, experienced and knowledgeable IT pundits across different Information and Communications Technology (ICT) areas including but not limited to Oracle, SAP and Microsoft, which in turn improves the time-to-market and quality of services being delivered to MEEZA’s clients.

Commenting on the event, MEEZA Chairman and CEO Rashid Al-Naimi said: “Partnering with Sonata Software has added a considerable breadth and depth to our integration capabilities.”

“Qatar is a strategic market for Sonata and we have made significant investments in the region through an earlier joint venture with Mohammad Nasser Abdullah Al-Misnad. The new agreement provides Sonata with access to the Qatari marketplace, which reinforces our global expansion strategy,” said Srikar Reddy, Managing Director and CEO, Sonata Software.
