Telecom tower firm Bharti Infratel on Sunday announced it has appointed Sunil Khurana as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the company.
Bharti Infratel said Khurana will be a member of the core executive council team of Bharti Infratel and report to the CEO Devender Singh Rawat.
“In his new role, he will provide strategic direction to the day-to-day operations of Bharti Infratel towards facilitating operational excellence and efficiency to meet customer requirements,” Bharti Infratel said in a statement.
He will also oversee the circle operations and different aspects of customer service delivery.
“All circle business heads, head of operation & maintenance and head of deployment will report to Sunil,” the statement said.
Khurana, an engineer in Electronics, joined Bharti Infratel from GE Group where he worked in various capacities, Bharti Infratel said in a statement.
In his last assignment as Director, Computed Tomography (CT) and Vice President, Services for South Asia, he managed the Profit and Loss for the region (India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal) reporting to the India CEO and the Global Service Leader based in US, it added.
