Tata Communications has won a five-year $20-million contract from global project consultancy firm Mott MacDonald. The Tata group company will redesign the wide area network environment and infrastructure that would enable UK-based Mott MacDonald to centralise business collaboration tools.
This would enable Mott to centralise software and other technical applications such as document management system into cloud computing environment, Tata Communications said in a statement. A significant investment by the consultancy will further enhance project collaboration between nearly 15,000 employees across 50 countries worldwide, it added.
