Technology design company Tata Elxsi saw a 73.6 per cent increase in net profit from Rs 31.9 crore to Rs 55.4 crore in fiscal 2012.
Revenues were up 29.3 per cent from Rs 416 crore in the previous year to Rs 539 crore in 2012.
For the fourth quarter of the year, the company reported revenues of Rs 145.5 crore, a growth of 18 per cent from the same quarter last year.
The Bangalore-based Tata group company works in sectors such as communications, consumer products, media and entertainment and transportation. The company provides services such as embedded product design, industrial design, animation and visual effects and systems integration.
