Tata Housing Development Company, pioneers of online home selling in India, on Monday announced the launch of ‘The World’s Biggest Home Bonanza’ in association with Amazon India.
This partnership will allow customers the online opportunity to purchase a ready-to-move-in luxury apartment.
Through this collaboration, the customers can purchase a Tata Housing apartment at Lonavala, Bengaluru, Kalyan-Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurgaon. In addition to this, customers get an opportunity to purchase furnishings and home improvement products up to Rs. 27 lakh, choosing from four crore products across 30 categories.
Brotin Banerjee, Managing Director and CEO, said Tata Housing was the first developer in India to partner with Amazon to sale real estate residence. “There is a $43 billion market opportunity here with an ever-evolving consumer behaviour and shrinking geographical barriers.”
Established in 1984, Tata has nearly 70 million square feet of area under various stages of planning and execution and an additional 19 million sq. ft in the pipeline across India. It offers products ranging from Rs. 12 lakhs to Rs. 14 crores. All projects developed by Tata Housing are certified sustainable green developments, he added.
The company has also ventured into foreign markets such as Maldives and is actively exploring other markets including Sri Lanka and other South Asian countries.
