As part of its efforts to recruit local talent, Tata Technologies, a global provider of engineering services and product development in IT, held jobs Open House at its North American headquarters in Michigan this week.
Seeking to fill more than a 100 positions in engineering, design, programming, consulting and account management, the company received 125 resumes including 73 on-site applicants, of which 30 were identified as qualified for specific open positions, Tata Technologies said in a statement.
Tata Technologies currently employs 623 people in the US of which 484 (approximately 78 per cent) are US nationals.
The company had organised two similar open houses in the past — both in 2010 and 2011.
The company said it still has approximately 40 immediate openings which it is seeking to fill through job board posting, social media channels and other networking.
Two additional Technical Career Open House events are planned for the coming year, the statement said.
