The country's largest software provider Tata Consultancy Services has bagged a five-year arrangement from digital advertising solutions provider Call Genie to distribute the latter's suite of products worldwide.

According to a statement from Call Genie, TCS will resell the full suite of ‘Call Genie' and ‘UpSnap' mobile products worldwide.

(UpSnap, which was recently acquired by Call Genie, is a direct response advertising network on mobile phones, serving close to a billion ads per month)

“Revenues from this arrangement will be comprised of consulting and implementation fees, licence fees, hosting fees, revenue sharing and maintenance fees. TCS has paid Call Genie approximately $200,000 for pre-paid licence fees in advance of sales,” Call Genie said.

The Toronto Stock Exchange-listed Call Genie is a provider in mobile local search and mobile digital interactive advertising, whose solutions are deployed in 12 countries globally.

Its software allows telecom operators to search and access directory listing information.

As part of this arrangement, TCS will resell products such as CG Workstation, CG Interact Voice, CG SMS Search, and CG Listing while Call Genie will provide sales support services.

TCS and Call Genie were associated with each other for several years now.
