Tata Consultancy Services has been selected by UK-based Southern Water to implement a customer management system and revenue transformation programme for an undisclosed amount.
“The CRM system we are deploying for Southern Water will help in the drive to provide customer services, while data governance and analysis tools deliver better intelligence back into the business with an increase in operational efficiency and an updated billing system,” A.S. Lakshminarayanan, President-Business Group (Telecom, HiTech, Media & IS, Utlities), TCS, said.
Southern Water is the utility responsible for water supply, waste water collection and treatment in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent. It provides water across 4,450 sq.km.
