Mr Rajesh Chandiramani, who till recently was driving the India business for telecom solutions company Tech Mahindra, has put in his papers.
This is the second high profile exit from the Tech Mahindra-Mahindra Satyam combine in recent times. Earlier this month, Mr Atul Kunwar, who was leading the global sales function of Mahindra Satyam, had resigned from the firm.
Mr Chandiramani has joined the India unit of Paris-based Capgemini as Vice-President of Sales, with responsibility for driving the ‘right offshore mix' for the IT and outsourcing company's global clients, sources said.
Joining Capgemini

Interestingly, Mr Chandiramani's exit is coming at a time when Tech Mahindra is preparing the groundwork for a potential merger with Mahindra Satyam, a company it had acquired in 2009 after then Chairman of the Hyderabad-based company, Mr B Ramalinga Raju admitted to deliberate falsification of the company's books.
Mr Chandiramani was associated with Tech Mahindra for the last six years. Under his leadership, the company’s domestic practise grew to a business with a multi million dollar annual run rate business from in two years time. Most recently, he was responsible for the profit and loss of 11 business units within the company. He has also managed the sales and marketing function for Tech Mahindra in the past.
