IT & BPO firm Tech Mahindra has opened its fourth centre in Cebu, the Philippines, to service global enterprise and telecommunication clients.
“The Philippines region is key to our growth strategy. Over the past few years, we’ve invested heavily in developing capability to serve the transformational needs of our customers arising from the influx of digital. With the addition in Cebu, around 14 per cent of our global workforce is now concentrated in the region,” Sujit Baksi, Chief Executive, Tech Mahindra Business Services Group (BSG), said.
The company, which has presence since 2008 in the country, has already two centres in Manila and one in Cebu.
Shares of Tech Mahindra were down by 1.08 per cent to close at ₹629.75 on the BSE
