Techwave Consulting to open $5-m Global Delivery Centre

Techwave Consulting Inc, a US-based system integrator, will open a Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Hyderabad, its’ second in the city, on August 1. Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao will formally inaugurate the facility in Madhapur, the IT hub. It invested $5 million to develop the facility.

“The new GDC will help expand delivery of premium services such as cloud computing, Big Data Analytics and advanced data mining from Hyderabad,” Rajasekhar Gummadapu, Chief Operating Officer of Techwave Consulting, said here in a statement on Thursday.

Techwave is planning to recruit various professionals for this new Hyderabad location to further develop various emerging technology services practices from Hyderabad.

“Our goal is to increase employee base in Hyderabad to 1000 and globally 1500 and achieve revenues of $100 million by 2016,” Damodar Rao Gummadapu, the CEO, said.

“We will be soon expanding to Africa, Europe, Singapore, APAC region and other countries,” he said.
