ThinkPalm Technologies Pvt Ltd, a growing product engineering and software services company, is now expanding its fresh business venture with a second office latterly opened and put to full operational use in Info Park, Kochi.
An agreement for the lease of the 6,500 sq ft space in Athulya building was dotted and crossed back by CEO of Info Park, Mr Gigo Joseph, and Director of ThinkPalm, Mr Manoj K.P.
The opening of the new office in Infopark is in accordance with ThinkPalm's business projection for expanding its enterprise and encompasses growing projects.
Biz and verticals
ThinkPalm has been involved in the business sector of product engineering and software services. The company will have 100 software professionals in-house during the first year of operation and expand the resource pool strategically in the successive years based on the market developments.
The team of 100 software professionals will be evenly distributed across two development centres in Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, Mr Manoj said.
The company's business circulates around two main verticals: Enterprise technologies and platform technologies.
In platform technologies vertical, the focus is towards catering the needs of software and technological R&D services in areas such as telecom — cellular backend, networking domains, embedded domains and mobile application technology.
While the latter's (enterprise technologies vertical) primary aim is in developing a comprehensive software suite for shipping industry.
