Cyient has appointed Venki Padmanabhan as the Senior Vice-President of its Systems and Solutions business, and the CEO of Rangsons Electronics Pvt Ltd (REPL), its electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM) subsidiary.
Consequently, Pavan Ranga, the CEO of Rangsons Electronics for the last 15 years, will move into the role of Non-executive Director representing the Ranga family’s ownership in REPL. He will continue to provide guidance on strategy, operations and business growth as Cyient integrates REPL into its business and execute its strategy for integrated offerings.
Padmanabhan will handle the definition and execution of Cyient’s S3 (services, systems and solutions) value proposition. Prior to joining Rangsons Electronics, he was the Managing Director (MD) and CEO of English Indian Clays Limited (EICL), which is part of the $500 million Karan Thapar Group.
He also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield. Additionally, he was MD of Chrysler's first South East Asia Global Sourcing Centre in Chennai.
