Testing company TÜV Rheinland India has announced that it will offer market access to Indian manufacturers exporting to Russia and the Customs Union by providing product testing and certification services.
The company in a release said that this service would be primarily offered to manufacturers and exporters of textile and leather products.
Commenting on the advantages offered, Mr Enrico Ruhle, Managing Director of TUV Rheinland India, said, "With our established competence centre in Moscow, TUV Rheinland India would be able to offer manufacturers and exporters the benefit of speedy introduction to the Customs Union market. This will give them a lead over the global competition apart from saving them money.”
The Customs Union consists of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus and is expected to evolve into a more ambitious common market, with Russia as its hub.
