GSM operator Uninor’s, the Indian unit of Norway’s Telenor, Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Malik has resigned, citing personal reasons.
The company has started the process of selecting a new CEO, while it has named Sigve Brekke - currently head of Telenor Group's Asia operations - as the interim CEO, the company said in a statement.
"Yogesh has made important contributions towards the development of Uninor for the last three years. I thank Yogesh for his contribution to the company and wish him the best in his future endeavours," Brekke said in the statement.
