UST Global, a leading digital transformation solutions company, has partnered with IIT Palakkad for joint R&D in cutting-edge technologies such as AI/ML and Brain-Machine Interface, internship and job placement for the students.
For the joint R&D, students will work at UST Global’s Infinity Labs for 3-6 months across its locations in India.
Infinity Labs are UST Global’s in-house innovation centre that builds digital innovation capabilities to solve business problems of its Fortune 500 Customers across cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML, Blockchain, AR/VR, IoT, Design Thinking, and Enterprise Computing.
Alexander Varghese, Chief Administrative Officer and Country Head, UST Global said the company is focussed on building an innovation ecosystem with deep partnerships with the academia and start-ups, to solve business problems of our Fortune 500 customers.
The partnership with IIT Palakkad will help the students get right exposure to kick-start their career in technology.
“Our collaboration with UST Global’s Infinity Labs will not only help our undergraduate students to get exposure to the latest know-how in industry and practical training but also to enable technological innovations that answer real-world problems and address future needs of industry,” Vinod A Prasad, Dean of Industry Collaboration and Sponsored Research, IIT Palakkad said.
