Vodafone India has launched three unlimited roaming data packages for travellers to Japan and Saudi Arabia. These plans are being launched jointly in partnership with Softbank’s network in Japan and Mobility’s network in Saudi Arabia.
The packages are available with validity options of three to seven days and rentals of Rs 1,499 (3 days), Rs 2,499 (5 days) and Rs 3,499 (7days).
Usage on any other international operator’s network in these countries will be charged at standard international data roaming charges of Rs 5.50 per 10 KB, the company said in a statement.
“There is an increasing demand for data usage while on international roaming and our latest international roaming data packages bridges this gap and guarantees affordable connectivity for our customers travelling to high traffic destinations like Japan and Saudi Arabia. Ensuring quick data access upon arrival, it addresses the needs of diverse customer segments,” said Sunil Sood, Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone India.
