Vodafone India has launched an international roaming pack, offering discounts of more than 90 per cent on data and about 64 per cent on outgoing local and international calls.
The pack is launched for subscribers visiting countries such as the UK, the US, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Thailand, the company said in a statement.
The international roaming pack is available for a rental of Rs 2,499 and has a 30-day-validity. The benefits are offered across 45 countries in partnership with select network operator in each country. Usage on any other international operator’s network in these countries will be charged at standard international roaming charges.
This new pack is in addition to the Rs 1,499 pack launched last year that offered a 60 per cent discount on international roaming on voice, data and SMS.
“There is an increasing need of customers to remain connected while travelling abroad and our latest international roaming pack enables our customer to do that. It guarantees affordable connectivity for our customers travelling to countries like UK, USA, UAE, Singapore etc. Ensuring quick and hassle-free data access upon arrival, it addresses the needs of diverse customer segments,” said Vivek Mathur, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India.
