Wipro Technologies has announced the launch of the Wipro AppLife Contest for engineering students.
The company in a release said that this would enable students to showcase their creative and technical talent in developing mobile applications for consumers and enterprises. The contest will be open from June 19, 2012 to December 18, 2012.
“We hope to provide students with mentorship, tools and frameworks to help them utilise their creative energies and develop skill sets on future technologies like iOS, Android, HTML 5 and other open source platforms,’’ said Mr Gaurav Dhall, Global Head - Mobility Solutions, Wipro Technologies.
