Wipro has entered into a seven-year deal with RSA to deliver IT solutions in UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.
As part of this deal, Wipro will provide IT infrastructure on a subscription basis for mainframe, mid-range, storage, cloud and end-user services in addition to a multilingual service desk for RSA employees in all the regions, according to a company statement.
This will enable pan-European standardisation, improved end-to-end responsibility and a platform for business-led collaboration, the statement added.
However, the company did not disclose the deal size but said that the deal followed a 10-month sourcing programme, which included 20 bidders.
Darren Price, Group CIO, RSA, said that this partnership is a major step forward in the group's technology strategy and enables it to provide affordable and secure IT platform.
