Wipro has launched a co-innovation centre for SAP in Bangalore. The focus of this partner research centre for co-innovation is to drive innovation based on SAP solutions, according to a company statement.
Wipro anticipates that the centre will develop solutions based on the SAP HANA platform, as well as next-generation technologies, including mobility and analytics to offer integrated offerings based on SAP HANA for customers.
Supported by professionals from Wipro and SAP, the new centre is expected to provide customers with process-specific business solutions and thought leadership around the existing and emerging SAP technologies.
Further, Wipro will focus on innovating new solutions for industries, such as utilities, mining, banking, insurance, life sciences, public sector, automotive, consumer goods and retail.
Gerhard Oswald, member of the Executive Board, SAP said: “Strategic partners such as Wipro will help drive the next stage of customer value by delivering SAP HANA-based applications that help meet our customers’ challenges head-on.”
