Moser Baer, a manufacturer of optical storage media, said on Wednesday that it has “amicably resolved all issues” with about 150 agitating workers at its optical disc plant in Greater Noida.

These workers had been protesting outside the plant premises, asking for wage revision and bonuses.

In a statement, Mr Bhaskar Sharma, CEO, Blank Optical Media and Consumer Electronics, Moser Baer India, said, “We have successfully resolved all issues concerning a very small group of our associates at the Greater Noida plant. All 150 dissatisfied associates have come back and joined their respective duties.”

He said the plant operations are now normal.

But the company did not reveal the compromise formula that has been reached with the workers. “We cannot disclose the specifics,” said Moser Baer spokesperson.

The agitating workers could not be reached for comments.

Moser Baer manufactures a full range of optical storage media products, including CDs and DVDs.
