Chinese smartphone-maker Xiaomi, which has been caught in patent infringement allegations recently, launched its new flagship device Mi 4 for ₹19,999 on Wednesday.
The phone, which will go on sale from February 10, will be available for pre-registration on Flipkart from Wednesday.
Further, the company announced that the Mi 4 will come with the new MiUi 6. With the new operating software, an upgrade to its Android ROM, the company has redesigned the user interface to make it simpler, the company said, adding that MiUi has over 85 million users worldwide.
The new phone comes with 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, besides 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.
Further, the flagship product, which runs on a 3080 mAh battery, is also highly focused on the “selfie” front camera. Both its 8-megapixel front and 13-megapixel rear cameras have f1.8 aperture for better low-light imaging and 80 degree wide-angle.
