Pune-based provider of software services and infrastructure, Zensar Technologies, has won new contracts in Europe and Germany, which is its first significant win in the private sector here, during July.
Zensar has also opened a new office in Switzerland and one in Kenya earlier, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
With contracts in Europe last year and a good pipeline in Germany, Austria, Holland and the UK, the region is expected to contribute 15 per cent of the company's global revenues by 2017, Gurdeep Grewal, Senior V-P and head, Zensar Technologies, Europe, said.
Ganesh Natarajan, Vice-Chairman and CEO, Zensar Tech, added that the company has embarked upon its Continental Europe journey three years ago. The strategy was built on ERP, infrastructure management and government initiatives and all three areas were seeing success today, he said in the statement.
