Electronic security company, Zicom, has launched fingerprints locks. These locks can be unlocked either through a fingerprint or with a PIN or an emergency key override.
The lock has a capacity for 120 fingerprint templates.
Commenting on the product, Mr Anand Swaminathan, CEO, Zicom Electronic Security Systems Ltd, said: “Securing one’s possession has been a concern for people throughout the world. Priced reasonably, the device restricts entry in a particular room or a section in your office or at home.’’
