Barclays on Monday announced the appointment of Neel Shahani as Head of Equities – India.
Shahani will be responsible for leading and managing Barclays Equities sales and trading businesses in India.
Shahani, who joined Barclays in 2011 as Trading – India, is based in Mumbai.
He has 22 years experience in equities markets joining Barclays from IIFL where he was Head of Sales Trading, managing a team covering global markets.
Shahani previously worked at CLSA, HSBC and JM Financial.
