The stock of Dhanlaxmi Bank tumbled 2.3 per cent at Rs 47.55 at around 11.40 a.m. on the BSE today.
In a statement to the exchanges, the bank said that it raised Rs 70 crore through a qualified institutional placement on Wednesday at Rs 46.50 a share that was slightly at a discount to Tuesday’s closing price.
The bank, however, did not disclose the buyers’ name immediately.
During the day, the scrip touched a high of Rs 48.50 and a low of Rs 47.35.
