The US stocks were up today on news that the US economy grew 3.2% in fourth quarter. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 100 at 15,839.75. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 17.54 points at 1,791.70. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 69.43 points at 4,120.85.
As the economy grew and spending climbed, eight of 10 Standard & Poors 500 Index industry groups rose today.
