The US markets were flat in the morning trade. Analysts said the stocks were flat in the morning despite good results by retail companies and demand for housing rising during the month.
Dow Jones industrial average went up by 27.93 points at 16,207.59. Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up by 2.08 points at 1,847.20. Nasdaq Composite Index was up 11.94 points at 4,299.53.
