The US markets were mixed in the morning session, as entertainment and manufacturing stocks fell.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 49.55 points, at 16,326.24. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 3.30 points, at 1,860.74. But the Nasdaq Composite Index was down 6.83 points at 4,219.55.
