Most auto makers, including Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Escorts, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor and Ashok Leyland will announce their July sales figures by Monday. Analysts expect auto sales figures to be subdued, both sequentially as well as year-on-year. However, any positive surprise in numbers by any of these companies will trigger a sharp rise in the share price of the respective companies on Monday.
