Shares of Can Fin Homes will remain in focus as its ₹276-crore rights issue opens for subscription on Friday. It will close on February 27. A major portion of the funds raised through this will be used to increase the capital base. Can Fin will issue over 61.45 lakh equity shares at a price of ₹450 each (CMP: ₹626) to its shareholders on a rights basis. Every investor holding 10 equity shares of Can Fin Homes would be eligible to buy three equity shares.

VLS Finance board meets for buyback, result

The stock of VLS Finance will be in limelight on Friday, as the company board is meeting to consider a buyback proposal. The stock on Thursday, closed with a gain of 4.93 per cent at ₹40.45. Analysts and traders will keenly track the quantum and price of the buyback issue. The board will also consider the October-December financial results. During the July-September period, the company reported a net profit of ₹1.76 crore on a revenue of ₹897 crore.
