Central Bank of India today announced its partnership with Angel Broking and the Bombay Stock Exchange in their series of investor education seminars.
Through this partnership, the bank will leverage the creativity, innovation and research expertise of the partners involved for greater impact in investor education activities.
‘Cent-e-trade’, an online trading platform offered by Central Bank of India and Angel Broking Ltd to the bank customers is also being popularised as a convenient and on-the-move tool for trading options.
The initiative has covered many Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities in the country to promote equity markets as an attractive investment option and boost participation in the stock markets.
Announcing the partnership, Mr Dinesh Thakkar, Chairman & Managing Director, Angel Broking, said: “The issue of financial awareness in the country is larger than anywhere else. This is why partnership is so important. We will launch our first event post this partnership in Rajkot and have plans to cover other regions in coming months.”
“Industry estimates suggest that only a very negligible number is currently invested in the stock markets. Through this event, we intend to provide vital training and facilitate increase in participation and also help people take informed investment decision,” Mr Thakkar added.
