The wholesale Jaggery prices were asked around previous levels in the national capital on Saturday as prices moved in tight range on alternate small bouts of trading and settled at last levels. Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also remained flat on little doing.
Marketmen said little buying support and sufficient stocks position, mainly held prices around overnight levels.
The following are today’s quotations a quintal: Chakku Rs 2,950-3,050, pedi Rs 3,250-3,350, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500, and shakkar Rs 3,400-3,500. Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,400-2,450, chakku Rs 2,650-2,750 and khurpa NT (no trading).
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,050-3,100 and dhayya N/A.
