Kishmish prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital on Saturday in view of fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing belts.
Kishmish Indian green and yellow prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 3,900-4,600 and Rs 4,800-7,400 per 40 kg bag, respectively.
Market analysts said besides increased demand from retailers and stockists amid restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly pushed up kishmish prices on the dry fruit market here.
The following are today’s quotations (per 40 kg): Almond (California) Rs 15,800 Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 7,800-8,200; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 4,500-5,000; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-20,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 550-570 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 450-500 per kg.
