Spot rubber fell below the ₹130 mark on Tuesday due to buyer resistance and weaker cues from domestic and global futures. Sheet rubber skid to ₹129 (130) a kg as reported by the traders and Rubber Board.
The grade dropped to ₹126 (127) a kg, according to dealers. The September futures declined to ₹127.30 (128.67), October to ₹126.10 (127.53) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) slid to ₹109.86 (110.83) at Bangkok. The September futures dropped to ¥187.4 (₹109.06) a kg on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 129 (130); RSS-5: 125 (126); Ungraded: 117 (118); ISNR 20: 111 (111.50) and Latex 60%: 89 (91).
