Silver prices rose 0.21 per cent to Rs 38,480 per kg at the futures trade today largely in tune with a recovery trend in global market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 81 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 38,480 per kg in a business turnover of 549 lots.
In the international market, silver gained 0.5 per cent to $17.36 an ounce in Singapore, rebounding from a weekly decline.
Market analysts said a recovery in the global market mainly influenced silver prices at the futures trade here.
