Spot rubber finished weak on Saturday. The weekend session was comparatively inactive but major counters lost further on buyer resistance. The trend was mixed.
Sheet rubber dropped to ₹147 (₹147.50) a kg, according to traders. The grade was quoted steady at ₹148 and ₹145 respectively, by the Rubber Board and dealers.
March futures slipped to ₹147 (₹147.86), April to ₹151.80 (₹152.89), May to ₹155(₹155.71) and June to ₹156(₹157.29) while July futures improved marginally to ₹156.90 (₹156.55) on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
Spot rubber rates (₹/kg) were: RSS-4: 147(147.50); RSS-5: 145 (147); Ungraded: 144(144); ISNR 20: 147(147); and Latex 60%: 120(120)
