Steady conditions prevailed in the local steel market on Saturday as prices moved in a narrow range in the absence of buying support and settled around previous levels.
Traders said absence of buying support against adequate stocks position mainly kept steel prices steady.
The following are today’s quotations per tonne: CTD saria (Kamdhenu): 8-mm Rs 49,600, 10-mm Rs 48,100, 12-mm Rs 47,100, 16-25 mm Rs 47,700.
