After witnessing a good uptrend last weekend, dara wheat and flour prices remained unchanged on good domestic buying, on Tuesday.
Following good demand for flour, interest in dara wheat remained firm, said Ram Kumar, a wheat trader.
Prices have been ruling firm since last weekend and may continue to rule around current levels this week, he added.
Market is getting good support from strong consumer demand in the ongoing festival season, said Kumar.
In the physical market, around 600 quintals of dara variety arrived from Uttar Pradesh and the stocks were directly offloaded at the mills.
Mill delivery was at Rs 1,490-1,495 a quintal while delivery at the chakki was Rs 1,500 .
Similarly, Desi wheat varieties ruled flat on steady demand and quoted between Rs 2,050 and Rs 2,200.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, wheat for November delivery increased by Rs 4 and traded at Rs 1,541 .
December contracts went down by Rs 2 to Rs 1,545.
Spot wheat prices on the exchange traded at Rs 1,500 a quintal.
Flour Prices
Following a steady trend in wheat, flour prices too ruled unchanged and sold at Rs 1,490 for a 90-kg bag.
Similarly, Chokar remained unaltered and went for Rs 670 for a 49-kg bag.
