In a range-bound movement, aluminium traded 0.13 per cent higher at the futures trading today, taking positive cues from the London Metal Exchange (LME).
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July gained 15 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 113.25 per kg with a business turnover of 193 lots. Similarly, August contract also strengthened by the same margin to Rs 114.20 per kg with a trading volume of 10 lots.
At the LME, the metal was trading slightly higher at $2,558 per tonne in the early trade today.
Market analysts said a firming trend in the base metals pack at the LME mainly influenced the trading sentiment at the futures trade here.
