Bullish outlook for pulses

Resumption of trucks on the roads and the government’s move to issue tenders for importing more tur dal have arrested the uptrend in prices. However, given lower output of pulse seeds this Kharif season, future of pulse seeds appears bullish. On Wednesday, tur (Mahrashtra) ruled at ₹11,000, while tur (Madhya Pradesh) was quoted at ₹10,500. Tur dal (sawa no.) was at ₹13,500-600, tur dal (full) at ₹13,800-14,000, while tur marka ruled at ₹14,700-15,000. Downtrend also continued in urad with urad (bold) at ₹11,000, while urad (medium) ruled at ₹10,000. Urad dal (medium) fetched ₹12,300-400, urad dal (bold) ₹12,800-13,100, while urad mongar ruled at ₹14,600-15,000. Moong (bold) went for ₹9,000-9,200, while moong (medium) ruled at ₹8,000-8,200.
