Spot rubber lost further on Tuesday. RSS 4 weakened to ₹126 (127) a kg, according to traders. The grade slipped to ₹126.50 (127) and ₹123.50 (124), according to Rubber Board and the dealers. The market lost ground on buyer resistance following the sharp declines in Bangkok spot prices. June futures improved to ₹124.65 (123.17), July to ₹125 (123.31), August to ₹124.75 (123.15) and September to ₹124 (123) a kg on the National Multi Commodity Exchange. RSS 3 (spot) surrendered to ₹104.56 (111.95) at Bangkok. May futures dropped to ¥150.1 (₹92.66) on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange. Spot rubber rates (₹/kg): RSS-4: 126 (127); RSS-5: 122.50 (123); Ungraded: 105 (105); ISNR 20: 110 (112) and Latex (60% drc): 97 (99).
