Improved festive demand has lifted soya oil prices in Indore mandis in the past one week by₹10 per 10 kg, though on Monday soya oil ruled steady on weak physical demand with soya refined being quoted at ₹662-65 for 10 kg, while soya solvent ruled at₹630-35. Soyabean ruled flat at ₹2,850, while plant deliveries of soyabean quoted at ₹2,850-75 a quintal. In futures also soyabean, despite improved global cues, traded lower on slack buying support with its October and November contracts on the NCDEX at ₹2,920 a quintal (down ₹18) and ₹2,930 (down ₹22) respectively. Amid slack domestic demand, soyameal traded lower at ₹21,500-22,000 a quintal.
