Commodities market regulator Forward Markets Commission (FMC) has nominated Ananthasubramanian, a practicing company secretary from Mumbai, as an independent director in Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX).
Ananthasubramanian will serve as an independent director at MCX till end March 2016, sources close to the development said.
He is also the President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
