Stock limit and fear of government’s raids continue to drag pulses and pulse seeds prices in Indore mandis with chana (kanta) in the past one week declining by ₹250 to ₹4,750-4,800 a quintal, while chana (desi) declined to ₹4,500 (down ₹300 from last one week).
Chana dal (average) was being quoted at ₹5,600-6,100, chana dal (medium) at ₹6,200-6,300, chana dal (bold) ruled at ₹6,600-6,800 a quintal respectively.
Dollar chana was quoted higher on improved domestic and export demand with its prices in local mandis being quoted at ₹6,000-7,000 (up ₹200 from last week). In container, dollar chana 42/44 count was at ₹8,000-8,050; 44/46 count ruled at ₹7,800, while 58/60 count was ₹6,500 and 60/62 count ruled at ₹6,400 a quintal respectively.
