Quiet conditions prevailed at the wholesale grains market today, with wheat and other commodities after moving in a tight range, closed around the previous close.
Arrivals and offtake, too, remained at a low ebb and the volume of business was poor.
Traders said absence of demand from local parties and neighbouring states led to grain prices remaining unchanged at the previous levels.

Wheat MP (deshi) 1,550-1,800, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,155-1,160, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,160-1,165, atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 180, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 180, Roller flour mill 635-650 (50 kg), Maida 725-745 (50 kg) and Sooji 800-815 (50 kg).
Basmati rice (Lal Quila) 9,500, Shri Lal Mahal 9,300, super basmati rice 9,000, Basmati common new 4,600-4,700, rice Pusa-(1121) new 3,600-4,100, Permal raw 1,980-2,030, Permal wand 2,100-2,150, Sela 2,350-2,375 and Rice IR-8 1,900-1,925, Bajra 840-850, Jowar yellow 850-900, white 1,625-1,750, Maize 1,080-1,100, Barley 1,110-1,120 and Rajasthan 1,080-1,090.
